SGS Finland consists of two companies, SGS Fimko and SGS Inspection Services These two companies employ 160 professionals who annually test and analyze thousands of products and samples and assess the quality of the operation of hundreds of companies. The national head office of SGS Finland is located in Helsinki and branch offices/laboratories are located in Espoo, Kotka, Mussalo, Hamina, Rauma,and Kokkola.
SGS Fimko Ltd
SGS Fimko has been testing products since 1928 and has become a testing and certifying company of international renown. SGS Fimko is one of the leading testing and certification companies in the electrical, electronic, machinery and gas appliance field in Europe. SGS Fimko is also active in Asia, where SGS Fimko and its FI mark are wellknown. SGS Fimko became a member of the SGS Group in 2000.
SGS Inspection Services Oy
Working on agency basis in Finland since 1924, SGS founded in 1987 its affiliate SGS Inspection Services Oy. The core activities include inspection and monitoring services for international trade in petroleum and petrochemicals, in agricultural and mineral products, industrial equipment and consumer goods.
